Plastic Free EB: One Bag at a Time

What's Wrong with Plastic Bags?

Worldwide, a trillion single-use plastic bags are used annually and it is estimated that more than twenty millions bags are used in East Brunswick each year. The plastic the bags are made of does not readily degrade and remain in the environment for up to a thousand years. Discarded plastic bags threaten wildlife everywhere, take thousands of years to break down, and pollute our oceans.

Good News: Gov. Murphy Signs Legislation Banning Single-Use Paper and Plastic Bags in New Jersey
