It's warm, rainy and humid. There is a break in the rain forecast for a few hours and then more rain, possibly even a bit heavy for a few hours after dark as a cold front moves through. Assuming that happens, (and maybe even if it doesn't but it stays mild and humid and damp) it could trigger amphibians to move around. I was there from 8-9 pm, saw 2 frogs but no salamanders, it got pretty cold rather suddenly! Here are photos:

I must have seen the same 2 frogs!! We were there at 6:30. I was really hoping for some salamanders.
